WE NEED YOU ... We are recruiting for a Financial Inclusion Officer for a brand new opportunity that has arisen in Preston.
ABOUT YOUR FUTURE EMPLOYER... Working for an award winning charitable organisation who provide services across the North West to support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
THE ROLE ... You will be working in liaison with and acting as a hybrid between outreach team and the finance team. The role will be a caring role, where you will be providing tenancy advice and guidance focusing specifically on providing advice on rent arrears and any tenancy related financial issues. You will proactively engage with tenants to offer financial and budgeting advice to help reduce debts and by assessing tenants needs and signposting where necessary.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE ... Ideally you will have experience working within social housing supporting vulnerable clients and a good understanding of financial issues and solutions related to tenancy management.
Ideally you will hold a housing qualification (CIH or equivalent), however most important is your experience and knowledge within this area.
BENEFITS... This is initially a part time, ongoing temporary role with the potential of a permanent opportunity for the successful candidate. Ideally you will hold a DBS on the update service.
