Brook Street Social Care is working in partnership with a national charity, which specialise in providing care and support to older people within a residential care home setting.

The organisation is a longstanding provider of care, and has worked for over 120 years providing care to the older people in our community. Recognised not only for national, but international charity work, this organisation prides itself in providing the best quality training and support to staff, to ensure their residents receive the highest quality care.

You will be a calm, effective communicator, with experience working with adults who have additional care or support needs. You will be able to manage unique, and at times, challenging behaviours, being aware of procedures to follow. Your input into the home is crucial, and as such, this role requires people who have strong interpersonal skills, and the abilities to work effectively and respectfully with other team members.

We are looking for care or support workers who have at least 6 months experience either working, or volunteering in a role which supports or cares for vulnerable people. Candidates who possess a level 2 or 3 in health and social care are desirable.

This role will require the successful candidate to work on a rolling rota pattern, covering 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days. The shift patterns are 8am - 3pm and 2pm - 9pm. Flexibility is essential for this role.

Our client is offering a generous starting salary of £19,000 per annum. In addition, the organisation offer a range of training and professional development options and more.
