BS Social Care are recruiting for a Care Coordinator role within the Northampton area of Northamptonshire working a permanent and full time role. This is for a homecare organisation that is a part of two other locations within the region. This role is paying £22,000.

About the employer; this employer own 3 branches within the region caring for people with all different needs from small prompts and minimal engagement all the way to terminal illness or those recovering from illness.

About the job; The Care Coordinator should be demonstrating, and actively ensuring that the service`s values and principles are adhered to, both with and through how s/he works, the relationships s/he develops and sustains, and the outcomes sought with and on behalf of people who use services and people who support them.

Accountability
The post holder is accountable directly to the Registered Manager and has line management responsibility for Team Leaders. To be responsible to the Registered Manager for the day to day service provision to the Service Users by producing detailed work schedules for the Care Workers and providing both written and verbal instructions/guidance to them. To be conversant with the Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary Care Regulations (National Minimum Standards) and legislation governing the service and other regulations concerning the provision of both domiciliary care and residential care services. To be able to complete spot checks and supervisions.

Service Users are mainly within the Duston area and Wellingborough of Northamptonshire and the service is currently running at approx 900 hours per week.


The ideal candidate will have; a driving licence and access to own car due to the nature of the role, you will hold an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or be working towards. You will hold experience as a Care Coordinator/Supervisor or Senior Care Worker or other roles relevant within a care providing organisation. You will have good literacy and numeracy skills, computer literate, an understanding of legislation concerned with care provision and administrative experience. You will also have dedication and commitment, effective team player, good communication skills and time management, sound understanding of good care principles, ability to cope under pressure, calm and patient, ability to deal with change or emergencies and ability to display empathy and understanding.

For this full time and permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, you will be offered a starting salary of £22,000 alongside competitive rates of pay and benefits, 25p per mile, on call allowances, free training/induction support and a growing career in care with our company
