3 - 6 Months with view to become permanent contract!

Are you a registered manager looking for an incredible opportunity to help a brilliant company expand? Do you have experience in managing services in supported living? Do you have the level 5 qualification and have excellent knowledge of CQC standards? If so you NEED to apply for this role!
My client is looking for an interim registered manager to run services for 3- 6 months in the Bury area of Manchester. This role is a new role so after the three to six months the view is to make it a permanent contract! It is essential you drive in this role and have access to your own vehicle as you will be required to visit the services.

The client is a nationwide company that deals with supported living for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities mental health problems and age-related illness. So experience in managing services in supported living is essential. You will have the opportunity to join a fantastic team for a well-known company where services are rated good or excellent by the CQC.
You will be responsible for driving those excellent standards; you will do this by auditing service procedures, medications and finances. You will report directly to the line manager but you will be expected to work autonomously to get the job done. You must be able to work basic IT packages such as EXCEL and outlook and be able to manage teams of people and communicate well verbally and in written formats.

As part of your role you will need to be managing staff, this will be doing supervisions, writing and implementing action plans performance targets. You will also monitor staff training and ensure all staff are trained and equipped to the best of their ability for the role.

Due to the nature of this role, the candidate needs to be pro-active and able to work with local authorities and commissioners and be driven to improve care and management. This will not be hard for you as you will be organised, focused and motivated to see care done excellently.
It is essential that the candidate has a level 5 qualification in care management or registered manager's award. They must also have experience as a registered manager in supported living ideally or within care industry. You must also have a valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
