About the employer; this company is a charity which was established in 1981 by parents that had increasing concerns about the care their children were receiving all those years ago. They are now a successful and well lead charity working with adults (some of which were there as children and now grown up) to ensure that they are receiving the best possible care. Their ethos is totally person centred and they train their staff to give top professional care as this is paramount for everyone involved no matter why you are a part of it.
About the job; this role is to have fun with the adults within the services as these services are their homes. You will be responsible for ensuring your residents are happy and enjoying their day as much as possible. You will work closely with the staff, the management team and the parents of the residents to bring exciting and creative ideas to the table to keep the days positive. You will follow the residents care plans, work hard as a team and do not just the residents and company proud, but do yourself proud. You will give top professional care and will do everything you can to follow the standards put in place by the charity.
About the ideal candidate; due to the location of this role, you will either be a driver or have a dedicated person to pick you up and drop you off. You will hold at the least a Level 2 in Health and Social Care and will hold at the least 1 years care experience within the last 2 years.
