Job: Crisis Mental Health Support Worker
Contract: Temp
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Day shifts, Waking nights
Pay: TBC

My client provides crucial mental health support to individuals facing crisis situations.

Your Role:
As a Crisis Mental Health Support Worker, you will be the compassionate and caring presence that people in crisis need.

- Offering immediate emotional support to individuals in distress.
- Active listening, providing a safe space for them to express their feelings.
- Assessing the situation and collaborating with a team to ensure the best care.
- Assisting in crisis de-escalation and connecting individuals to appropriate resources.
- Empowering clients to take steps toward recovery and resilience.
- Engage with people overnight if they wake up, may have suicidal tendencies, log any updates
- Day shifts engage with activities, prompt routine, general support duties, appointments

What We Look For:
- Must have experience in supporting people with mental health
- Empathy and an open heart to understand others.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and stay calm during crisis situations.
- Willingness to collaborate with a diverse team.
- A commitment to our mission and values.
- Enhanced DBS
- Driver with own car (Desirable)
