Working on behalf of BS Social Care, we are on of the UK's leading recruitment specialists sourcing staff seeking temporary and permanent work across the social care settings. Our branch in Preston covers the Lancashire and Cumbria regions.

We are seeking skilled workers who have experience of supporting young people where the role is to provide night support within a supported accommodation setting. Supporting young people aged 16-21. Your duties will be to assist with practical duties, adhering to internal policies and procedures, ensuring the health and safety within the building and adhering to all safeguarding protocol.. You will need to monitor who is coming in and out of the service, doing hourly checks and dealing with potential drug and alcohol issues.

Ideally you will have one year experience of working with and supporting young people and be flexible to work across the week and including weekends. Night shifts working on a rota basis. You will be able to engage with young people and communicate and have the flexibility to work on a rota basis.

1 year paid work experience or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. Enhanced DBS disclosure ideally on the Update Service. All applications will be subject to satisfactory references and Enhanced DBS disclosure.
