Job Description

Finance Manager - Stratford upon Avon


- up to £45,000 pro rata

- 12-month maternity cover

- 3 days per week - Tues - Thurs

In collaboration with a luxury provider of care and support, I am recruiting for a full or part qualified Finance Manager to join them on a part time basis (3 days per week - Tuesday to Thursday) You will provide finance support to the Directors and the wider Senior Leadership team, who are responsible for delivering outstanding quality care and support services across several locations.

This is an exciting position managing a team of two. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and a hands-on candidate to manage the timely, accurate financial management for a fast-growing, privately-owned organisation.

Key Areas of the Role:
· Preparation of monthly payroll for 330 employees. 300 of these employees are hourly paid. (Social Care professionals)
· Preparation of Management Accounts
· Petty Cash, accruals, payments
· Overseeing of all finance related issues.
· Project management support to the Directors
. Overseeing Management of monthly payrolls, Hourly paid and salary
· Overseeing Management of debtors and creditors
· Bank and credit card reconciliation
· Petty Cash, Expenses, accruals, payments
· Financial support to the wider team
· Management of a team of two

To be successful in this role:

  • You will be qualified or part qualified
  • Be a strong communicator and team player, with extensive knowledge of running a finance function for an ambitious SME - using Sage.
  • Possess strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite software are a pre-requisite.
  • Have experience pay-rolling over 300 care staff with varied hourly rates/allowances
  • Be committed to completing a fully enhanced DBS
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
