BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a permanent, part time support worker in a hostel supporting homeless individuals and those with a risk of homelessness to encourage and promote an ideal level of health and well being.

You will be expected to follow specific individual support plans in order to promote independent living as well as liaising with multi-agencies to promote the highest standards of health and safety.

The post holder will be non-discriminatory and respectful of homeless individuals. You will help develop a sense of belonging to the individuals in your care and enable them to thrive in a community.

Essential:
NVQ/Diploma level 2 in housing/health and social care
A years experience in a hostel setting that can display challenging behaviours
DBS on the update service

Desirable:
NVQ/Diploma level 3 in a relevant qualification - or a willingness to work towards this.
Working with Mainstay/Gateway system


£10,920 per annum based on 21 hours a week.
