£18,000 p.a pro rata (plus a £73 sleep-in rate on top)

BS Social Care is a national organisation, specialising in the recruitment of professionals within the Health and Social Care sector. We are currently working alongside a specialist provider of residential childcare and experienced Registered Childcare Officers (RCCO) in the Teesside area.

We`re currently looking for dedicated individuals to help make a difference at a residential service for children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (SEBD - trauma based). You will join a highly reputable health and social care provider, who have gained significant reward and recognition.

Within the role of RCCO, you will assist the registered manager in the operational day-to-day running of the service. You will strive to deliver outstanding care and support for the young people in your care. You will assist in the effective direction, guidance, support and leadership of the staff team to help deliver a service which is in line with both company and OFSTED guiltiness.
On a personal level, you will be able to demonstrate leadership skills. You will support the team on a daily basis and ensure the correct admin and required assessment documents are completed, reviewed and actioned.
The successful candidate will have:
Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People Residential Leadership (or prepared to work towards it) or the equivalent, relevant qualification.
Experience supporting young people in a service setting.
