LOCATION: MIDDLESBROUGH

SALARY: £28,000

FULL TIME

BS Social Care specialise in the permanent recruitment of Health & Social Care professionals. We are currently assisting one of the UK`s leading providers of support services in their recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager based in Middlesbrough.

This Mental Health Supported Living service provides service users the opportunity to recover, gain increasing independence, and to develop their full potential in a range of supported living environments.

As Registered Manager you will lead, support and motivate an established staff team consisting of team leaders and recovery workers while ensuring the highest level of support is given to the service users.

The aim of the Manager is to:

Empower service users to live more independently.
Supervise and lead the staff team in ensuring each service user formulates and pursues their own support plan
Regular evaluations and developments to the service to make sure it is in line with CQC and organisational standards.
Handle recruitment and selection
Forge strong links with relevant agencies and in the local community
Budget Control

The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care

- At least 2 years' experience managing a mental health recovery service, preferably within supported living.

- Community based experience

- Flexibility for On-Call duties
