Job Description

I am looking to recruit a registered manager for a brand new, innovative and person focused service specialising in the delivery high quality care and support for children and young people with a learning disability diagnosis in the Moseley area of Birmingham. Working closely with the director, you will join a growing and forward-thinking organisation specialising in the delivery of care to adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviours.

As registered manager you will be involved in taking the service from start up to commercially viable. The property has been acquired and developed and I am now looking for the perfect registered manager to compliment and put their stamp on this service.

You will be responsible for liaising with external providers, including local authority representatives, to secure referrals and subsequent placements. You will be pivotal in the recruitment of a skilled staff team, implementing policies and procedures and taking the service through successful registration with OFSTED.

Applications are welcome from candidates who have already held responsibility as a registered manager with OFSTED for a residential setting for children with a learning disability diagnosis and want to move onto a job which will challenge their already, extensive knowledge and allow them to focus on business and service development.

You must hold the QCF level 5 in leadership and management in health and social care for children and young people`s services. Furthermore, you will have extensive OFSTED knowledge and be able to demonstrate strong working relationships with local commissioners.
