I am looking for an experienced registered manager to join a homely and person centred children`s residential 4 bedded service specialising in the delivery of high quality care for adolescents with social, emotional and behavioural disorders - to oversee the day to day running of the service in SOLIHULL.

This service already has a GOOD OFSTED rating and I am seeking a child-focused manager who wants to drive forward an OUTSTANDING rating.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the home including the staff team, the welfare of the young people, the house finances and other resources. You will deliver and maintain good practices of care as required by the company and OFSTED and must be dynamic, motivated and empathetic even within the most challenging of situations.

To apply for this vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background as a registered manager within children`s residential care settings. You will hold a suitable care management qualification (NVQ 4/RMA or QCF level 5 in leadership and management for care services) and have extensive OFSTED knowledge and experience. Based on the requirement of the service, you will need to have flexibility to work the on call rota.

This fantastic opportunity offers a highly competitive salary up to £40000 per annum dependent on your skills, qualification and experience. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance and continued training and development.
