Job Description

Residential Childrens home in Northampton, NN2 area requires Residential Support Workers on rota basis.

Well established service part of a national company delivering therapeutic support to children in care with emotional behavioural difficulties.

You will be joining a small but effective team offering round the clock support to very vulnerable children, ages from 8-18 years.
Emotional stability and consistent balanced approach delivered to children in care to ensure they thrive in this placement.
Small home - focused on the safety and happiness of the children.
On a rolling rota - 1 full day on including sleep in`s 2 days off.


Experience working with vulnerable Children is essential - minimum of 2 years in Young people and Child care.
NVQ Level 2 in Young People & Children Health and Social Care required.
NVQ Level 3 preferred.
Trained and knowledge of de-escalation and control/restraint is preferred.


5 years worth of references plus a Warner Character reference is needed
DBS on update service - notifying of any cautions/convictions.

Salary from £10 p/h

Must have experience - minimum 2 years in Childrens services
Must complete 10 day induction training - which includes physical intervention
