Job Description

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for temporary ad-hoc Residential Support Workers, for our client based in Morley (LS27).

You would be working within a residential home for 8 female service users, all with personality disorders and mental health issues.

It is a rewarding role and no two days are ever the same! Continuity would be appreciated due to the nature of the role, as the service users often need to maintain trusting relationships with their care providers to help support their well being.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience, along with an Enhanced DBS on the update service - if you don`t currently have a DBS we can process this for a small fee of £46. You must also be able to provide a minimum of 2 recent references.

You must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week, which will vary from Days (8am - 10pm) to Waking Nights (10pm - 8am) and have relevant experience working with mental health, it would be an advantage to have knowledge of Personality Disorders and Challenging Behaviours (both verbal and physical).

The pay rate will be £8.60 per hour for days and £9.00 per hour for waking nights, with holiday pay to accrue.
