Job Description

A new role is now available for an ambitious Senior Manager to develop and deliver this well-known organisation's strategy, ethos and person-centred values within the Mental Health and Learning Disability sector in the South East area.

BS Social Care is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager who will cover the South East area. You will be based at home and cover the Hertfordshire, Kent, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire area ensuring you're leading and supporting staff, managing contracts, budgets, business plan's, growth and relationships.

About the employer; they are a leading health and social care provider with more than 300 locations across England, running all services on a not-for-profit basis, investing every penny back into the services and people. This organisation supports drug or alcohol issues, mental health and learning disabilities.

About the job; your role as mentioned above will extend to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the contract agreement to the highest possible level of quality and performance and within budget. To ensure the delivery of high quality, innovative, cost effective and continuously improving homes/services which reflect person-centred values and recovery focus. To ensure existing services are retained and there is a clear growth plan and strategies in place to deliver significant growth. Deliver people management by to leading, inspiring and motivating the team. Contribute to the development of your regions financial targets and ensure they are met. Ensure that governance processes are implemented and used in accordance with stated policies, procedures and regulations so that all services achieve their compliance obligations. To contribute to the achievement of Mental health and Learning Disability Service's long-term goals. Be involved with property management and strategic support. Undertake other responsibilities reasonably requested by the line manager including involvement in special projects and leads. You will build relationships with; commissioners, regulatory bodies and agencies, families and carers. This role includes an on-call rota that you will be able to participate in.

About the ideal candidate; we are looking for candidates that have great leadership skills with a high level of experience and a background of working with staff and people who have learning disabilities and or mental health issues. You will have experience of working with people and set, maintain and develop standards to support. You must be a strong leader with great understanding of CQC regulations, managing a large budget with a staff team of 600+ and ensuring financial robustness as well as sustainable growth. You will be a driver with access to a car and be able to travel throughout Hertfordshire, Kent, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire area, overnight stays will be expected.

For this role, you will be offered a salary of £55,000 - £58,000 working between the South East area and home working. The hours and days will be flexible and will be discussed upon interview. You will be provided with training upon starting and throughout the role.
