Job Description

A well-established organisation is recruiting for Senior Support Workers for their Supportive Living Service in Bridport, Dorset. You will be working with Young Adults who have learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, fragile X, non-verbal, epilepsy and some can have physical challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Lead & supervise the team and line manage staff
- Oversee the services in the absence of management
- Update care / support plans and risk assessments
- Help out with staff cover, rosters / rotas
- Assistant with budgeting & finance

Qualifying candidates:
- Must have previous experience as a support worker
- You would have either supervised or lead shifts in previous care jobs

Contract / Terms:
- Base salary is: £19,468 per annum = £9.36 an hour
- If you do sleep-ins, they will be paid at £61 per sleep
- Full time (40 hours a week) Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Day shifts can vary between 7am - 10pm and if you have to do nights, they are 9pm - 9am
