I have a number of exciting opportunities for SENIOR childrens residential support workers to join a lovely and supportive children service in Nuneaton which provides essential and valuable care to children and young people aged 8 to 17 years that have complex and behaviour needs. This service is 4 BED EBD home.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a strong background within childrens residential and already hold your QCF level 3 in childrens residential. Ideally you will be already working towards your Level 5 in Leadership and Management or at least wanting to work towards that career goal.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, you will be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour, be proactive and organised with a flare for making vulnerable children feel valued and appreciated so that they may go on to achieve their goals and have a bright future.

You role will consist of;

- Updating care plans
- Attend staff and team meetings
- Escalate and control any safeguarding matters
- Lead a team and plan rotas
- Step in and manage the home when the home manager is not on site
- Adhere to rules and regulations set out by Ofsted

This role will also consist of 2 FULL days on including SLEEPS and 4 days off. For all your hard work and commitment you will be paid a salary of £19,929 to £24,500. You will also get a sleep in allowance of £35.00 per sleep which will top up your salary by over £3000!!! You will also get the opportunity to complete your Level 5 in Leadership and Management, have an holiday allowance and a pension plan!
