An exciting SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER opportunity have become available within an extra care setting based in the Cannock area of Staffordshire.
You will join an established team, based within a purpose built extra care setting for adults aged 55 years and over.
Employed on a full time basis, you will ensure the effective domiciliary care service within the setting. You will manage an established team of support staff and report directly to the care manager and act as the direct point of contact in their absence.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail, as a key responsibility of your role will be supervisions, assessments and medication audits.
Flexibility is essential, as you will share the "on call" rota, and although initially in an advisory capacity, there may be occasions when you will be required to attend any of the extra care settings in Staffordshire.
Weekend and evening working will occasionally be required too.
This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled care professional who has a "can do" attitude, excellent communication skills and who leads by example.
You will demonstrate a proven background in domiciliary and hold a minimum of level 3 in health and social care. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as is the ability to manage a team.
