Job Description

Service Manager - Manchester

37.5 hours a week Full Time

Are you a service manager looking for a brand new challenge? If so this is the ideal opportunity for you!

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for the running of supported living services in the Salford/ Swinton area of Manchester. The services will be supporting an array of different people from those with learning disabilities, to mental health to physical disabilities in their homes. The ideal candidate would have experience as a service manager preferably within supported living or in running services in the community.

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, have a level 3 in health and social care and have or be willing to start a level 5 in care management. This is a self-directed role so the ideal candidate will be able to manage their time and diary effectively. You will have experience in managing staff and be a team player. You will be managing rotas, filling shifts as and when needed and doing supervisions.

You will be working for a reputable company renowned for its quality care. You will be part of a diverse team, working closely under the supervision of the senior service manager. This means you will be supported in your role and directed to be the best service manager possible!

As you will be at the forefront of managing these services there is an expectation for you to travel, so being a driver would be advantageous but is not essential. However there is an expectation to do some on-call shifts at services so it may be an advantage.

You will have a great understanding of CQC regulations and care standards, be IT literate and have learning disabilities and leadership experience. This is the ideal role for those who want to step into a challenging and exciting service manager role for a fantastic company who take care very seriously!

In return for your hard-work, expertise and awesome personality you will be rewarded with an excellent salary, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme and endless training and progression opportunities plus a cycle to work scheme.

This is an opportunity not to be missed as hours can be worked flexibly across the week; home-working may be an option for the right candidate and the company always looks to develop their staff.

This opportunity will not be around long as this is a company who really look after their staff and make working fun!

So if you want a rewarding career where no two days will be the same - apply online today. Apply now to avoid disappointment. Email or ring 0161 228 6168 to discuss!
