Service Manager - Adults Supported Living Services

Rochdale, Oldham Bury

£24000 - £26000 DOE

40 Hours Per week

My Client is currently looking for an experienced service manager to join their Team based in Rochdale. You will be the service manager located across 3 different areas - Rochdale, Oldham, Bury between 35/36 supported living services and outreach services under the Clients name.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service. You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success.

Experience and Skills;
" Must have experience of managing outcome focused supported living services
" Ability to role model good practice whilst working at time with complex individuals with behaviour that may challenge
" Ability to work well under pressure meeting the demands internally and externally
" Ability to understand the complex needs of individuals who may display behaviour that challenge and respond appropriately
" Ability to lead a team effectively and to organise, priorities and complete tasks within given timescales
" Ability to be responsive and communicate to the people we support, families and other professional appropriately
" Holds a QCF 5 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards
" Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
" Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation and best practice
" Experience in handling staff management issues.
" Full UK driving licence and own car.
" A minimum of 3 years` management experience.
" Ability to lead, motivate and challenge staff as appropriate
" Extensive background working with adults with Learning Disabilities / Physical Disabilities, Autism or Behaviours that Challenge.
" Flexibility
