Job Description

Service Manager - Recovery Service. County Durham
Location: Crook
BS Social Care
Full Time - 33.75 hours per week. Monday - Friday.
Salary: £22,145 (pro rata of £24,606) per annum
BS Social Care are working alongside a nationwide recovery focused charity who are looking for someone to join their team as a Service Manager for their County Durham service.


You will be responsible for delivering a recovery-based delivery to the clients Durham based service and managing the day?to?day running of the clients floating support services in Durham. As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use their services, you will be relied on to manage service contracts, line manage a team of front-line staff, organise caseloads and the health and safety of your team working out in the community and providing support for people in their own homes.

This role is an extremely rewarding role which will enrich and empower these vulnerable groups to support them with their overall health and wellbeing and to support the reintegration into society.
You will have a proven background working with vulnerable groups and in particular individuals with struggling with mental health, addiction and homelessness. You will have a proven background within Mental Health and excellent communication and listening skills. Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs essential, as well as being outcome driven and able to lead by example using your firm but inclusive management style.


You must have a minimum level 3 qualification or willing to work towards one and will have the opportunity to work towards level 5 qualifications.
