On behalf of well respected, mental health charitable provider, I am seeking a service manager to oversee the day to day running of two services for adults with a mental health diagnosis in the Borough of Wandsworth.
You will join an established charitable organisation, who since, opening their first service over 40 years ago, have maintained their reputation as one of the key providers of mental health, care and support.
Employed on a full time basis, you will be responsible for the support, supervision and guidance of mental health recovery teams within your services.
You will guide your team to use a range of techniques that motivate and encourage the people you support with their mental health recovery, ensuring they reside in an environment that is safe and supportive.
Quality and compliance, care and support planning, liaising with external agencies and effective budget management are all key requirements for the service manager role.
An excellent communicator, you will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of mental health support and have at least 12 months experience within a supervisory role within a similar setting.
You will hold a formal care management qualification, have flexibility to work at least one weekend a month and have significant experience supporting adults aged 18 years plus with a mental health diagnosis.
