Title: Specialist Support Worker
Location: Hereford
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000

Our Client is looking for experienced Support Workers to join their growing company.

We are looking for Specialist Support Workers to work in our clients New Flagship Care Leavers Service in the centre of Hereford.

They have 4 Self Contained Flats, and 3 Move on flats over two sites.
This role is on a rota basis which will include, Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Sleep Shifts (Sleep Shifts are paid additional to your salary).
You will play a key part in shaping the service within the area.

The Herefordshire Housing-related Support Service is for vulnerable adults aged 18+ who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. In addition to supported accommodation, the service can provide advice and support for tenancy issues, housing rights & homelessness, budgeting & benefit take-up, housing-related debt, training & employment and social & community inclusion.

The purpose of the Accommodation-based service is to provide supported accommodation for vulnerable adults over the age of 18 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Service users may or may not have complex needs, including ex-offenders and people with substance misuse or mental health needs. The service helps turn service user's lives around by offering an alternative to homelessness services and supports the development of life skills. Tailored support packages, developed and delivered in conjunction with a range of key partners, will support a move back to independent living and integration within the community.
