Job Description

Due to redeployment, we are recruiting for a support worker position to join a well-established team based in Newcastle. This is working for an organisation who provides support to vulnerable adults with mental health needs, Homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse.

These services house vulnerable adults aged 18+. These vulnerable adults have been placed in this facility to enable their independence.

You will have come from a support worker background, you will use independence and initiative as a lone worker, you will have a proven background working with people with Mental health issues, Homelessness, drug and alcohol you will be supportive and encouraging to the service users and be on hand to help them when needed. You will work with the crisis team and local authorities when needed.

N this role you will oversee supporting the vulnerable adults, answering phones, taking notes, go through the cleaning rota, interacting with them and watching the CCTV cameras

The hours for this role Vary and could include 10pm-8am, 8pm-8am, 8am-8pm, 3pm-10pm and 3pm-8pm.
