Job Description

***DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED - CALLING ALL YOUNG ADULT SUPPORT WORKERS!!!!****

We are looking for a driven individual passionate about making a difference by building relationships and positively impacting the lives of the young adults you will be working with

The home provides care and therapeutic support with a vision of smooth transition between education and adulthood for residents with profound communication difficulties such as cerebral palsy, brain injuries and degenerative disorders

Typical duties can include

- Personal care (washing and dressing)
- Supporting with therapeutic activities such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy
- Ensuring a safe, supporting and enjoyable environment
- Development of social skills where applicable
- Communication and building strong relationships with the young adults in the home

About the role

Salary: Between £8.95 and £10.15 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full time, 4 week rota of 14 shifts (typically every other weekend)
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
