Job Description

Brook Street Social Care is a high street recruitment company that specialises in finding temporary and permanent work opportunities for professionals who provide care or support to vulnerable adults, children and families. We work with a wide range of companies that provide residential care, supported living, hostel, nursery and day care services.

At present we are working with a large care provider who is seeking temporary care workers to provide care and support to adults who have mild learning disabilities or mild mental health disabilities. The organisation works with adults who have challenging behaviours and require 24 hour support. The services are mainly across Lambeth, Wandsworth and Merton.

The services offer a caring and supportive environment for adults who are unable to live independently, but are working towards building the necessary independent living skills, to move forward into semi-independence. This position is a hands on role, and as such, you will need to be prepared to provide personal care where necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a care or support role within the last 5 years. We are looking for passionate candidates who want to make a difference to the lives of the people they support. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates who are wanting consistent ongoing work.

This role is paying between £11 - £14 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications. We are looking for support workers that are able to offer flexibility and commit to at least 30 hours per week.

Successful candidates will be contacted, and pre-screened by a consultant from the BS Social Care team. for more information please get in touch with Junior on 07483 347 038
